It was one of the best hotels we have stayed in a long time. The hospitality, the maintenance, the views all were outstanding. Our favorite was definitely the wide variety of food from oriental to continental to their tandoori items everything was succulent and prepared with heart! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and balconies. We stayed in Chatrabhuj and Tribhuj and both rooms have their charm and very immaculately decorated with great toiletries. They had well planned activities like trip to a beautiful mandir, hike to the top of the mountain with huskies and night safari. They also provided us bluetooth speakers to play our own music which was a plus. Some suggestions to make this hotel even more amazing: The spa was not at par with the rest of the hotel amenities, no aromatics/candles were included, there was no soothing music and the even though the bed was heated there was no head rest and felt a little inconvenient to lay face down. They have amazing flowers all around the hotel and i wish some of those fresh flowers were also decorated in the tables to replace the artificial flowers. Other than that I would again like to stress that the entire staff was giving their best and really wanted to make the guests stay mesmerizing and recommend everyone to go an enjoy this and beautiful property. We will definitely boat again and thanks for the wonderful stay!!

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist spots, Vatsyayana Resort is nothing short of a paradise. Our stay there was truly memorable. Initially, we were a bit skeptical about the plan—after all, the resort is located in what felt like the middle of nowhere, and the road leading up to it is quite steep and winding. But once we arrived, we realized that the journey was part of the experience—and absolutely worth it. Perched at a higher altitude than well-known destinations like Jim Corbett, the resort offers a cooler climate, making it a perfect escape from the summer heat. Its remote location also means minimal human habitation, resulting in cleaner air and a peaceful, pollution-free environment. Photos simply don’t do justice to the beauty of this place—it’s even more breathtaking in person. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, each offering a stunning view. The infinity swimming pool was undoubtedly a highlight , and the food exceeded all expectations. I looked forward to every meal and savored each bite. In short, Vatsyayana Resort is a hidden gem that’s well worth the visit. We had an incredible time and would gladly return.

Amazing property. Very beautiful place. Classy rooms Staff is very nice. Food is good. It's about 2.5 to 4 hours of drive from jim corbett but every km travelled is worth this place. Still untouched place. Not much of traffic and population here. Do visit before it gets commercialized and crowded. Roads are bit narrow so must drive carefully. Loved every bit of it. Highly recommend

Disappointed by Room Change & Lack of Transparency I had high expectations from Vatsyayana Resort given its reputation, but unfortunately, my recent stay was quite disappointing due to poor service and lack of honesty from the resort. Despite booking well in advance and specifically reserving rooms with a balcony, we were given rooms with common garden access instead. What’s worse — this change was made without any prior intimation or explanation at the time of check-in. When we raised the issue with the resort management, they falsely claimed that no balcony rooms were available. However, throughout the day and even late into the evening, we witnessed multiple guests checking in and being taken to rooms that matched or exceeded the category we had originally booked. This clearly indicates that the resort had the availability but chose not to honor our reservation — and then lied about it. A place that positions itself as a premium getaway should at least maintain basic standards of transparency and integrity. Sadly, this experience left a sour taste and overshadowed what could have been a memorable vacation.

The experience at this property was amazing. Not only was the property good but the services were fantastic. Staff like Narendra in F&B and Balwant ji, our trekking and tour guide did fabulous to keep all of us happy. The weather was also pleasant. We would recommend this property for a short stay of 2-3 days and would love to visit again.

Awesome resort. Our stay was the best. Ambience and food was very good. Everyday new variety of food getting served. Humble staff, and they have taken care of all the things. Rooms are very spacius and clean. You feel like home away from home.

We reached here covering the most scenic beauty. The resort had already sent the message about the weather, wifi and the other things. The room taken was chaturbhuj lavanya with American meal plan. The resort is heavenly. The rooms are clean, exotic and comfortable. Food is delicious with good varieties available. Staff is prompt, professional and polite. They schedule activities possible within their means. The riverside picnic is a must, it will take you close to the rustic feel. Overall, an unforgettable experience.
